Hey!
Hi there!
Welcome to my creative space!
This is where I share personal reflections, insights on therapy, and thoughts about life and connection.
Here’s something I’ve been reflecting on recently
How well do you know your therapist?
Probably not as much as you think—or maybe not at all. And that's okay! A big part of our role as therapists is to shift the focus from us to you, the client. However, I personally feel that this traditional dynamic can be limiting for both sides of the client-therapist relationship.
As a therapist, the role can sometimes feel confining. When self-expression is restricted, it can be challenging for those of us whose strengths lie in our personalities and unique energy—especially when we're deeply passionate about our work. That’s why I believe in leveraging opportunities like this—to use my social media platforms as a way to connect with anyone who wants to know more about me as a therapist and get a feel for the energy I bring to sessions.
A strong bond and mutual trust between the therapist and client are at the heart of impactful therapy. But I don’t want that bond to feel forced in our sessions. Instead, I want to start building that trust from the very beginning, even before we meet.
Moving forward, I’ll be sharing content that’s not only informative but also relatable—connecting with you as one person to another. This is where our trust begins.
